Saudi Arabia denies having contacted Assir
The Saudi embassy in Lebanon denied on Tuesday having called or contacted Sheikh Ahmad Assir, Imam of the Bilal Bin Rabah Mosque in Sidon.    

Saudi Arabia urged Assir in a statement to verify the identity of the caller, voicing respect to all of the figures, scholars and preachers.   

The embassy also warned of conspiracies aiming at dragging the Saudi Arabia into Lebanese internal affairs.
