The highly secretive Maarab agreement has now become disclosed, with the approval of the Lebanese Forces, or at least, a source close to the party.
The items of the agreement are now disclosed, and LBCI obtained a full copy of the accord.
The agreement, which is formed of four pages, begins with a declaration of intent between the two parties and ends with the signatures of Free Patriotic Movement head Gebran Bassil and MP Ibrahim Kanaan from one side and the signatures of Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea and Minister of Information Melhem Riachi from another side.
The agreement tackled the parliamentary elections, the distribution of the ministerial portfolios between the two parties and the distribution of the first class jobs.
