Arab Tawhid party chief, former Minister Wiam Wahhab stressed Monday that work is underway to find a solution for the governmental crisis and it is possible to succeed with concessions from more than one party.
“Prime Minister-designate Hariri cannot obstruct the country based on his hatred and he cannot monopolize the Sunni sect.”
In a statement to LBCI’s Nharkom Said, Wahhab noted that it is not possible to form a cabinet without the Sunni MPs of March 8, pointing out that Hezbollah does not practice bullying.
“Should Hezbollah use bullying as a strategy, Abdel Rahim Mrad or Faisal Karami would have made Prime Minister and Jamil al-Sayyed would have been the interior minister,” he clarified.
On the economic level, Wahhab explained that the decisions of Cedre conference are long-term loans to be used for infrastructure development, stressing that Cedre will not save Lebanon, but the state must do this process.
