Civil Defense members are working on extinguishing a fire which erupted earlier Tuesday on the fourth floor of the Palace Justice in Mathaf. Some employees remain trapped in the building as defense workers attempt their retrieval.
The Director General and Advisor to the Minister of Justice Marwan Hayek, said that a number of the building’s staff have been transferred to the hospital due to smoke inhalation.
