Khattar to LBCI: More than 104 fires erupted across Lebanon during past 24 hours
Director General of the Lebanese Civil Defense Raymond Khattar told LBCI on Tuesday that more than 104 fires erupted during the past 24 hours across Lebanon.
 
Khattar said that Lebanon did not witness such fires since 10 years ago, adding that "a fire that erupts at 1:00 am raises several question marks."
 
On another note, Khattar said that there are 5 minor injuries among the Civil Defense members, requesting any aid from any side.
 
He concluded by stressing that the strong winds are contributing to the renewal of fires, adding that the Civil Defense did not stop its operations to extinguish the blazes.
