Hariri: March 14 will boycott the cabinet until its resignation

Former PM Saad Hariri received on Sunday a series of phone calls from US Secretary of State Hilary Clinton, French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius and the UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon, offering condolences over the death the Brig. Gen Wissam al-Hassan and his companion Sergeant Ahmad Sahyouni.

During these phone calls, Hariri discussed the developments taking place in Lebanon following the assassination attack.

In this context, Hariri stressed that the Lebanese people are holding a civilized, democratic and peaceful movement to call for the downfall of Mikati’s government, adding that March 14 forces will keep on boycotting the cabinet until its resignation. Hariri described Mikati’s cabinet as being the result of the Iranian-Syrian dialogue, and is working on achieving its interests.
