Geagea meets with Plumbly, tackles refugee file and general situation

The leader of the Lebanese Forces Samir Geagea met on Friday with the United Nations Special Coordinator for Lebanon Derek Plumbly and discussed with him the general political situation in Lebanon and the region, in the presence of the LF’s foreign relations adviser Elie Khoury and Foreign Relations Official Pierre Bou Assi.

The conferees discussed the issue of the Syrian refugees and Lebanon’s incapacity in dealing with their growing number and the social and economic repercussions that comes as a result.

Discussions also tackled the importance of forming a cabinet as soon as possible in order to solve the pending social, economic and security problems.
