REPORT: Closer look on number of public sector employees
The number of public sector employees in Lebanon is 300 thousands employees, according to a study.
 
They are distributed as follows:
 
-    120 thousands in the military and security apparatuses.
 
-    40 thousands in the education sector.
 
-    25 thousands in ministries and public administrations.
 
-    115 thousands in public institutions and municipalities.
 
-    70 thousands as retirees.
