Parliament holds fifth presidential election session-[REPORT]
The House of Representatives held on Thursday the fifth presidential election session.
 
In the first round, Michel Moawad received 44 votes, while 47 MPs cast bank ballot, 6 voted for Issam Khalifeh, 7 deputies voted for “New Lebanon,” one voted for Ziad Baroud, one voted for Ziad Hayek, one voted for “For Lebanon,” and one ballot canceled.
 
The number of voters reached 108 deputies.
 
However, the second round of the session was adjourned after losing the quorum.
