Lebanese expatriates in Arizona, US staged a protest to show solidarity with the Lebanese people protesting across the Lebanese regions.
In conjunction with simultaneous protests in more than 30 major American and Canadian cities in support of the Lebanese revolution, the Arizona State University (ASU), Lebanese Student Association (LSA) and the Arizona Lebanese Community organized a peaceful protest in Arizona.
Chants included the Lebanese National Anthem along with slogans asking for the government’s resignation.
Participants also signed a large banner that is currently on its way to Lebanon to join the supporters in Beirut’s Martyrs square.
