Minister of Health Abiad issues decision to raise Dialysis sessions fees-[REPORT]

The Media office of the Ministry of Public Health issued on Wednesday a statement in which it said that "Minister of Health Firas Abiad issued a resolution to raise the fees of dialysis sessions for patients who are being treated at the expense of the ministry.

The statement added that the hospital’s new fees for each treatment session were set at one million Lebanese pounds, and for the doctor at two hundred thousand Lebanese pounds.

This decision is effective starting the beginning of the current month of April, in response to the difficult economic and living conditions.

The statement concluded by stating that the medical supplies for the dialysis treatment are fully subsided, noting that placing additional burdens on the patient will lead to immediate appropriate legal action.
