IMF urges Lebanon to adopt tax reforms to fund reconstruction and social protection
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) is urging Lebanon to implement tax reforms to help finance reconstruction efforts and strengthen social protection programs.
In a statement, the IMF said Lebanon must broaden its tax base and improve revenue collection to address mounting fiscal challenges and secure funding for rebuilding infrastructure.
