WHO chief once again called for a ceasefire in Gaza

The Director-General of the World Health Organization reiterated on Monday the call for a ceasefire in the ongoing war between Israel and the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in the Gaza Strip.

Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus added on the sidelines of the World Government Summit in Dubai that the aid provided to the sector so far in medical supplies is "a drop in the ocean of increasing needs every day."
