US National Security advisor meets Israeli Defense Minister

The White House announced on Tuesday that White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan held talks with Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for the second consecutive day.

White House spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters aboard Air Force One as President Joe Biden was en route to North Carolina that Sullivan and Gallant continued their discussions, which began on Monday, regarding Israel's conflict with Hamas in Gaza.
