Consumer price index increases by 16,42%
The Central Administration of Statistics at the premiership said on Tuesday in a statement that the consumer price index in Lebanon for the month of October 2021 recorded an increase by 16.42% comparing to the month of September 2021. 
 
This figure is recorded as follows: 
 
- An increase by 14.61% in Beirut 
 
- An increase by 14,55% in Mount Lebanon 
 
- An increase by 18,50% in North Lebanon 
 
- An increase by 20,44% in Bekaa 
 
- An increase by 17,97% in south Lebanon 
 
- An increase by 20,07% in Nabatieh 
 
It also noted that the consumer price index in Lebanon for the month of October 2021 recorded an increase by 173,57% compared to October 2020.
 
The consumer price inflation during the first ten months of the year amounted to 151.6 percent.
