Sheikh Qassem: Hezbollah is seeking national partnership

Deputy Secretary-General of Hezbollah Sheikh Naim Qassem called on Sunday for adopting a governmental formula that works on reconstructing Lebanon and reinforcing civil peace and stability in the country, adding that “Hezbollah is not seeking special gains, but national partnership”.

Qassem added that the US intervention in Syria is positively and negatively affecting the region and considered that "its Hezbollah’s duty to face the hostile approach against Syria in order to prevent the crisis from reaching Lebanon".

As for the latest incident that erupted in Sidon, Qassem said that the situation wouldn’t have reached this stage without the strife incitement caused by the Future Bloc.
