Verdict in Imam Sadr case deferred
The Judicial Council postponed delivering the verdict today in the case of Imam Moussa Sadr and his companions until January 20 of next year, a National News Agency correspondent reported on Friday.

The council said it cannot issue the verdict before Libya's Moammar Gaddafi is proven dead by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Imam Sadr and his companions, Sheikh Mohammad Yaacoub and journalist Abbas Badreddine, went missing in 1978 in Libya where they had travelled in an effort to end the Lebanese civil war.
