Future bloc reiterates support to LAF "amid Hezbollah's armed coup"

The Future bloc held on Tuesday its weekly meeting in which it tackled the latest developments in the country.

Following the meeting, MP Mohammed Hajjar said that the Lebanese Armed Forces institution holds a paramount status at this stage, mainly after the growing presence of outlaws manifested following Hezbollah's armed coup.

The Future bloc also reiterated full support to the Lebanese state and its security institutions, especially the Lebanese army.

On behalf of the bloc, MP Hajjar said that the sole immunity left for the Lebanese people is the military institution under the rule of law.

He also said that some Lebanese factions "pretend to be keen on the state's institutions but are only covering corruption and suspicious deals."

The bloc urged the Lebanese leaders to facilitate the formation of the new government in order to address the pending issues of the Lebanese people.

In its final message the bloc called on the United Nations, the Arab League and the UN Security Council to take the necessary measures against Israel's "racial behavior against the Palestinian people."
