1 killed during clash in Sheikh Ayach, 3 injured in Jabal Muhsen

One person was killed and three injured on Sunday in a clash in Sheikh Ayash, Akkar, whose residents are mostly Sunnis.

The clash erupted between men from Sheikh Ayash and others from Tal Hmayra, whose residents are mostly Alawites.

Tal Hmayra’s two injured, one of them in critical condition, were transferred to the North Hospital Center in Zgharta.

The residents of Sheikh Ayash blocked the international road leading to Homs, condemning the victim’s killing, while the LAF and security forces are working on reopening it.

Meanwhile, 3 persons, Ibrahim Settiti, Mohamamd Raad and Mohsen Ali Dabbachi, were injured in Jabal Muhsen while bullets were being fired into the air.

The Arab Democratic Party said that, Ali Dabbachi was hit by bullets in Jabal Muhsen adding that, during Tripoli’s ceremony, missiles and grenades were dropped on their region.
