Judge Sawan issues arrest warrant against 3 Syrian nationals

Military investigating Judge Fadi Sawan issued on Wednesday an arrest warrant against three Syrians over their involvement in firing rockets from Aramoun toward Beirut's southern suburbs.

In the details, judge Sawan interrogated two Syrian nationals identified as Mohammad Karhathan and Ghayas Karhathan, and interrogated a third Syrian national identified as Omar al-Dirani on charges of harboring the aforementioned suspects.

On May 26, four people were injured in a rocket attack on Beirut's Southern Suburbs.

The Lebanese Army issued a statement whereby it announced that a rocket was fired at a car dealership near the Mar Mikhael church and another landed in the Maroun Misk neighborhood.

Similarly on August 1, two rockets fired from an area in the vicinity of the Aramoun town in Aley struck locations near the Presidential Palace and the Defense Ministry in Baabda.
