Patriarch Yazigi hopes abducted Syrian bishops will be soon released

The Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch and All the East John X Yazigi expressed his joy regarding the release of the nine Lebanese hostages from Aazaz, noting that his happiness will be complete when the two Syrian bishops will be also released.

In his holy sermon delivered during Sunday’s mass at Balamand Monastery, Patriarch Yazigi said that President Michel Sleiman contacted him and expressed his interest in the case of the abducted bishops, hoping that they will be released soon.
