Sleiman urges parliament to pass citizenship law swiftly

President Michel Sleiman described on Tuesday the approval of the draft the law to restore citizenship to individuals of Lebanese origin as “very important and vital for Lebanon”.

Sleiman urged the parliament to pass the law given the effective role it plays in mending the economic and political bonds between the expatriates and their mother country.
