Public administrations, municipalities to close on Christmas, New Year

Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati issued Tuesday an administrative memo, whereby he declared that the public administrations, institutions and municipalities will be closed on Christmas day the 25th of December 2013 and New Year’s Day the 1st of January 2014.

Mikati also issued another memo whereby he announced that the public administrations, institutions and municipalities will be closed on the occasion of Christmas of the Armenian Orthodox sect, which coincides on Monday the 6th of January 2014.
