LAF conducts raid operations in Akkar in search for shooting suspects

The Lebanese Armed Forces raided on Sunday several places in the Akkar town of Telbiba in search for suspects involved in yesterday's shooting, the state-run National News Agency reported.

The shooting took place in the said town between members of Al-Saiid and Al-Hussein families, the agency said, adding that one person was killed and 5 others were wounded.

The fighting came as a result of long-simmering disputes between the two families.
