Khaled Flaiti killed in Ersal

Khaled Flaiti’s funeral was held on Saturday in Ersal amid high tension and anger. Flaiti was severely injured when the Syrian Army opened fire on the Northern border near Ersal and died in Shtora’s hospital on Friday night.

The funeral turned into a demonstration against the Syrian Regime and the Lebanese government. Sheikh Mustafa al Hujairi headed the mass, saying “PM Najib Mikati’s government is blind; the Lebanese Army should be deployed on the border to protect us”.
