Nahhas to LBCI: Is there any political party overlooking the wage issue?

The issue of wage adjustment is once again laid at the cabinet table after being subjected to the legal remarks put forth by the Shura Council. The Lebanese hope that, this [third] time, they will heave a sigh of relief after they felt that the increase in prices preceded the increase in wages and that the wait will be too long.

Labor Minister Charbel Nahhas voiced hope that the issue will be tabled on Wednesday during the cabinet session, wondering “is there any political party that is overlooking the issues of wage earners?”

Nahhas told LBCI “it is a low-cost plan that will be economically rewarding.”

Will the decree satisfy both productive sides? Are we rather heading for a new debate whose platform, this time, will be the street?
