Israeli evacuation warning issued for five southern Lebanon towns, residents urged to move north of Zahrani River

Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee issued an urgent evacuation warning on X to residents of Mjadel, Mahrouna, Jouaiyya, Chehabiyeh, and Deyrintar.

Adraee said the warning comes in response to what he described as ceasefire violations by Hezbollah, adding that the Israeli army would act forcefully against the group while stressing that civilians are not the target.

He urged residents to immediately evacuate their homes and move north of the Zahrani River, warning that anyone near Hezbollah personnel, facilities or weapons would be putting their lives at risk.
