MP Kanaan to LBCI: Lebanese factions did not fully agree on cabinet formation

Change and Reform Bloc MP Ibrahim Kanaan said on Wednesday that Lebanese factions did not fully agree on all details pertaining to the cabinet formation, stressing the importance of forming a national unity cabinet without excluding from it any Lebanese side.

MP Kanaan told LBCI’s Nharkom Said that impossible conditions were not set, adding that Lebanese parties are negotiating and discussing the formation of the cabinet.

“What is the benefit of a de facto cabinet that will increase the division among Lebanese parties?” MP Kanaan asked.

On another note, MP Kanaan highlighted the necessity of holding the presidential elections on their due date.
