State Commissioner charges two for having links to detainee Jamal Daftardar
The State Commissioner to the Military Court Judge Saqr Saqr filed on Tuesday a lawsuit against two persons for having links to detainee Jamal Daftardar, the state-run National News Agency reported.

The accused were identified as a detained Lebanese national and a fugitive Palestinian, the agency said.

Judge Saqr also referred them to Military Investigating Judge Imad El-Zain who set Thursday as a date to interrogate the Lebanese national.

On the 29th of January, Judge Saqr Saqr filed lawsuits against detainee Jamal Daftardar and twelve other persons on charges of belonging to armed terrorist networks, such as al-Qaeda and the Abdullah Azzam Brigades, with the intention of carrying out terrorist acts and recruiting, training and transporting people to and from Lebanon.

The lawsuits also included charges concerning forging identification documents, firing rockets towards Israel and possessing weapons and explosive devices.
