Boroujerdi stresses Iran’s support for Lebanon’s sovereignty

Chairman of the Foreign Policy and National Security Committee at the Iranian Shura Council, Alaeddin Boroujerdi, declared that he asked Prime Minister Tammam Salam to follow up on the case of the four abducted diplomats, stressing Iran’s support for Lebanon’s unity and sovereignty.

Boroujerdi was accompanied by the Iranian ambassador to Lebanon Ghadanfar Rokenabadi and met with Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil, where he denounced the Israeli attack that targeted the Lebanese territories earlier this week. He also stressed the need to improve the bilateral relations between Iran and Lebanon.
