Young boy stabs sister in the neck in Basta el Tahta

A young boy stabbed his sister on Friday noon in her neck at their residence in Basta el Tahta, the state-run National News Agency reported.

The girl was admitted to hospital while members of the Internal Security Forces rushed to the scene and opened an investigation into the incident.

The region's residents claimed that the young boy, identified by his initials as A. B., suffers from neurological diseases and is a drug addict, the agency said.
