Daher to LBCI: Defense Minister’s statement lacks credibility

Lebanon First bloc member Khaled Daher told Nharkom Said that there is a party in Lebanon trying to sow the seeds of dispute between the LAF and another party to serve the Syrian regime’s interest. He said that the statement of Defense Minister Fayez Ghosn on the infiltration of Al Qaeda members into Syria through Arsal lacks credibility and is in line with the Syrian regime’s interest.

“No region will be the Syrian regime’s punching bag”, he said adding that the minister of defense has no proof; “his statement was political, which was proven by the ensuing silence of the intelligence services and security forces.

Daher said that the other party is preventing the state institutions from playing their role, refusing that the Lebanese regime be undermined by use of weapons.
