Kataeb MP Saade says new Lebanese president should have clear positions
Kataeb bloc member MP Samer Saade stressed on Friday that Kataeb party leader Amin Gemayel does not aim, through his initiative, to propose himself as a candidate for the presidential elections.

"Gemayel endeavors to reach an agreement among the Lebanese parties in a bid to avoid power vacuum," MP Saade said in an interview with LBCI's Nharkom Said TV Show.

"The new Lebanese president should have clear positions," MP Saade added.

He also noted that presidential void leads to compromise and major concessions, noting that the four Maronite [Samir Geagea, Michel Aoun, Amin Gemayel, Sleiman Frangieh] leaders should agree on a mechanism of action in this regard.
