Nahhas to LBCI: Wage raise will soon be settled

Economy Minister Nicolas Nahhas said that the issue of wage raise will be soon settled once and for all, adding that Monday’s meeting in the Grand Serail between economic bodies, PM Najib Mikati and the GLC aims at confirming the agreement.

Nahhas told Nharkom Saiid TV show that the most important thing is not who puts forth a proposal, rather that an agreement is reached. Nahhas stressed that the concerned parties have reached an agreement that the government should take into consideration.

“If the Shura Council reacts positively to the proposal of Labor Minister Charbel Nahhas, we will act accordingly”, Nahhas said.
