PM Salam extends Eid official holidays until July 30
Lebanon's Prime Minister Tammam Salam extended on Monday the Eid official holidays until Wednesday July 30th.        

Municipalities, administrations and public institutions will close their doors on Wednesday.        

Grand Mufti Sheikh Mohammed Rashid Qabbani announced yesterday that Monday (July 28) is the first day of Eid al-Fitr, the Muslim holiday that marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan.           

Sunni religious authorities in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait have also announced that Eid al-Fitr begins Monday.
