Deputy PM Moqbel congratulates LAF leadership on Army Day

Deputy Prime Minister and National defense Minister, Samir Moqbel, congratulated on Friday the Lebanese Armed Forces leadership, officers and soldiers on the 69th anniversary of the military institution.

In this regard, Moqbel lauded the army's sacrifices, and said: "The military institution upholds civil peace and stands against terrorists and Israeli violations".

He also urged all Lebanese political parties to back the army in its national tasks in order to save the country and revive its role on the local, regional and international levels.
