Lebanese Customs discover 1 million Captagon pills hidden inside home furniture
Lebanese Customs issued on Thursday a statement in which it said that the police discovered about 1 million Captagon pills hidden inside home furniture set to be exported from Lebanon.

The drugs, which were destined for an unknown Gulf country, were found during a police raid on a factory in the city of Byblos.

The statement said that police from the anti-drug unit in the northern city of Tripoli carried out the raid and arrested the factory's owner.

Interrogations with the detainee, identified only by the initials S.J., led to the identification of another suspect involved in the case.

That man, a Syrian national, was also arrested following a highway chase, the statement concluded by saying.
