Gemayel voices concern over certain constitutional practices
Kataeb Party leader Amine Gemayel stated on Sunday that the role of foreign forces in Lebanon ended, asking Lebanese factions why are they giving these forces the chance to interfere in Lebanon's affairs.

On the 78th anniversary of the foundation of the Kataeb party, Gemayel voiced his fear over certain constitutional practices, pointing out that they aim at altering the Lebanese entity.

"We must always remember that Lebanon is an independent entity and it should therefore not be dragged into regional conflicts," Gemayel said.

He also called on Lebanese factions to gather for national dialogue sessions in order to reach consensus over the election of a president.
