Economy Minister Nicolas Nahas said Sunday that raising the minimum wage in Lebanon requires further consideration, adding the Cabinet is studying the possibility of raising the purchasing power of people.
“The electricity issue was extensively examined and should be decided upon systematically”, Nahas said, adding Tuesday’s ministerial meeting will not be confined only to the electricity draft law.
Asked about the Time interview with one of the four accused in the 2005 Hariri’s assassination, Nahas said “State’s power is above all and dialogue is the only means to devise solutions.”
