Taxi driver goes missing in Akkar

A taxi driver, who works between the northern city of Tripoli and al-Abdeh town in the district of Akkar, went missing after he left his house on Friday.

The state-run National News Agency reported on Sunday that a taxi driver identified as B.Kh Taleb, who hails from the town of Ain Zahab, left his house on Friday and never returned.

The wife of Taleb submitted a missing report at al-Abdeh police station.

He drives a white Mercedes.

His cell phone has been switched off since Friday, the agency added.
