Change and Reform Bloc MP Hekmat Dib stressed on Thursday the necessity of promoting political work as well as the work of the cabinet, emphasizing that Lebanese officials should no longer accept void at the first presidency and consider it as “normal”.
Dib told LBCI’s Nharkom Said that dialogue between the Future Movement and the Free Patriotic Movement was launched almost a year ago, adding that various principles and national decisions were agreed upon since then.
“We worked on building bridges to maintain security and stability in Lebanon,” MP Dib said, noting that the country is in dire need for a new president capable of representing all Lebanese factions.
