Machinegun fire heard as Israeli unit combs Lebanon border area

An Israeli army unit has been combing, since early Monday, the occupied Shebaa Farms and the borderline linking al-Ghajar to Wadi al-Assal and al-Abbasiyeh towns.

This comes as Israeli reconnaissance planes and helicopters hovered over the said areas as machine gun fire from medium weapons could be intermittently heard.
