PM Salam meets with Iranian ambassador, tackles nuclear deal

Iranian ambassador to Lebanon Mohammad Fathali met Friday with Prime Minister Tammam Salam at the Grand Serail, where he briefed him on the nuclear deal, hoping that it will have positive effects on the region.

Fathali also hoped that the countries of the Middle East will join their efforts and intensify their endeavors in orders to fight and repel all potential dangers.

For her part, Minister of the Displaced Alice Chabtini, who also met with PM Salam, said that “all issues at hand have solutions,” noting that there is a party refusing to make any decision during the cabinet session before finalizing the issue of the governmental work mechanism, in reference to the Change and Reform bloc.

Concerning Salam’s position regarding the waste crisis, Chabtini said: “Salam is a patient man and he always seeks to find solutions.”
