Change and Reform bloc calls for a transparent investigation into case of ex-MP Yaacoub

The Change and Reform Bloc called on Tuesday for a speedy and transparent investigation into the case of former MP Hassan Yaacoub.

Yaacoub was apprehended earlier this month over his alleged links in the abduction of the son of the late Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi.

“The investigating judge must deploy his utmost efforts to reveal the truth behind the kidnapping of Imam Sadr,” former Minister Salim Jreissati said during a press conference following the bloc’s weekly meeting in Rabieh.
