Ferzli: Toppling current government will unshackle its members

Former deputy Speaker Elie Ferzli said that toppling the current government would free its members from the shackles of Hezbollah. “The electricity issue resembles the [STL] false witnesses issue since they both crippled the government’s work”, Ferzli said.

Ferzli told “Loubnan al-Horr” radio that Syria is resilient despite the international community’s mobilization against it. “The wide attack launched on the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in an attempt to isolate him was pointless”.

“Syria is locked in a strategic relationship battle with President Assad”, Ferzli added.
