Cabinet refers public spending draft law to Parliament
The cabinet approved an urgent public spending draft law for the year 2012 on Thursday and referred it to the Parliament, during a session held at Baabda Palace under the chairmanship of President Michel Suleiman.

The session was preceded by a closed meeting between the President and PM Najib Mikati to discuss the general situation in Lebanon.

At the beginning of the session, the President briefed the ministers on the atmosphere that prevailed over the national dialogue session and the decisions it reached.

Sleiman called for another cabinet session on June 27.
