Anjar’s fruits fall off trees due to high temperature
The increase in temperature in Lebanon took its toll on Anjar’s crops.

The high temperature witnessed on Saturday caused all fruits to fall off the trees, such as apple, pear and peach trees.

The lands of wheat and barley were also damaged.

In this context, Michel Afram, President and Director of General Lebanese Agricultural Research Institute, said that only natural factors are behind this disaster, calling on farmers to comply with the institute’s directives.
