Nicolas: Rai remarks aims at correcting Bkerke orientation

Change and Reform bloc MP Nabil Nicolas told Nharkom Said TV show that the fundamental principles of Bkerke’s vision are immutable and shall remain unchanged.

“Bkerke’s principles aim at preserving the national well-being and remaining open to the Arab world”, Nicolas said.

Nicolas added that the stance taken by Maronite Patriarch Beshara Rai is not unexpected and aims at correcting the Maronite Patriarchate’s orientation.

“Rai’s remarks have no political purposes, rather, they seek to protect Christians”, Nicolas added.
