Wahhab: We refuse the return of “Nahr el-Bared”

Arab Tawhid Party leader Weam Wahhab declared his full on support for the LAF on Friday, and urged all other parties to do the same.

Following his meeting with Hezbollah Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem, Wahhab firmly reiterated his refusal for the return of incidents similar to that of Nahr el-Bared.

He added that the Lebanese government bears a responsibility to provide decent living standards towards all Palestinian refugees.

Regarding the issue of elections Wahhab stated that he supports the law of proportional representation-and on the Syrian file, the Tawhid Party Leader lauded Russia’s stances, describing them as both strategic and fair.

Wahhab added that the Syrian people are capable of overcoming the turbulence their nation is witnessing stressing on the need of diverting the crisis from Lebanon’s path.
