Two protests hit Karantina

Cooperative State Employees gathered from several Lebanese areas and protested in front of the cooperative headquarters in the Karantina area in Beirut.

Also in Karantina, 250 personnel from the Beirut Fire Brigade gathered at 9am in front of Beirut’s main fire station facing Beirut’s Municipality,. They then proceeded to cut off the adjacent road with motorbikes and tires to protest what they view as unfair working conditions and unanswered demands.
